How to Love Life

That's about it, isn't it? Because we're all in it, like it or not, so we may as well have the good sense to appreciate it for what is-or what it isn't. My search began a few years ago, after my divorce. At some point it occurred to me that I was searching for something. I thought the search was "how to live" but I couldn't find the answer. Then I realized it was really "how to love". Because in reading those tracts that most appeal to me, the Swami Vivekenanda and the like, I realized that I wasn't very impressed with myself. Mark Twain said we admire in others those qualities we find lacking in our own constitution. I found more lack than quality. True or not, of course, that doesn't make sense. Even a true villain likes himself. So where do we go from here? That is great question, and in order to solve it I will be blogging my thoughts and observations on life, love and the pursuit, and see where it ends up.
